Team workspaces
A Team workspace adds shared ownership and supervision around existing Codelit projects. Personal projects stay private until their owner deliberately shares them with a workspace.
Create or join a workspace
Pro includes three workspace seats and Max includes ten. A paid owner can invite a free Codelit account; hosted usage and shared limits remain attached to the workspace billing owner.
- Open Settings, then Team.
- Create your workspace or choose one you already joined.
- Invite a collaborator by email and choose the smallest role that fits their responsibility.
Choose a role
Roles keep configuration, execution, and approval authority separate. Only the owner can assign another admin, and nobody can demote or remove themselves accidentally.
- Owner manages billing, seats, people, connections, and workspace deletion.
- Admin manages people, connections, projects, runs, and approvals but not billing.
- Builder edits and runs shared Agent Teams.
- Reviewer reads shared work and decides approval requests.
- Viewer reads shared work and evidence without changing it.
Keep access explicit
Moving a project into a workspace is a deliberate action. In Settings > Team, an owner or admin can grant one exact connected account and only the read or write operations that team runs need. The credential remains encrypted under the billing owner and is never copied to a member, workflow, or API response.
- Connect the account under Integrations or Web access.
- Open Settings > Team > Shared connections and select the exact operations.
- Publish or run the shared project. Codelit checks the grant again at run start, so revocation stops the next run.
Review team runs
A hosted approval becomes a durable workspace request. Eligible owners, admins, and reviewers decide it while signed in from the global notification center; email and Slack links return to Codelit instead of carrying a transferable approval token.
- Exactly one approve or hold decision wins.
- Expired approvals halt the run instead of resuming it.
- Workspace members see bounded run status; only the billing owner sees executor logs.
- Activity lists redacted membership, project, connection, approval, and billing events with older-page loading.
Adjust seats and billing
One Pro block includes three seats for $5/month; one Max block includes ten for $15/month. The owner can use the seat stepper in Settings > Team to add another block. Stripe prorates increases immediately, and the workspace limit changes only after Stripe confirms payment.
Delete safely
Workspace deletion requires a recent sign-in and the exact DELETE WORKSPACE confirmation. It unregisters Telegram hooks, pauses and removes hosted work, revokes grants and invitations, removes memberships and approvals, returns shared projects to private scope, writes a bounded deletion receipt, and removes the workspace last.
