Reuse teammates and Skills with Library
Library keeps reusable teammates and Skills separate from the connected apps, credentials, and project permissions that belong to one Team.
Review a teammate before saving
Open an Agent card in Flow and choose Save to Library. The review shows what will be kept and what will stay behind before anything is stored.
- Role, responsibilities, input, output, model preference, and escalation policy are saved.
- Assigned tools, credentials, connected resources, provider settings, and project permissions are excluded.
- Saving the same reviewed browser teammate to the same destination is idempotent and does not create a duplicate.
Add from the flow
Choose the + beside a card or Add next step in the inspector, then use From Library. Browser teammates are available on this device. Active private teammates are available anywhere you sign in, and workspace teammates appear only in Agent Teams linked to that workspace. The teammate joins the selected handoff with no tool grants and an exact online version pin when applicable.
Save and reuse a Skill
Open Workflow details, choose Skills + MCP, and select a Team-only Skill. Save to Library shows its description, activation rule, instructions, resources, risk, and inert script references before you choose Only me or a writable workspace.
In another Team, open Skills + MCP and use the single From your Library selector. Codelit adds the exact reviewed version and pins it in the Skill inspector.
- Pinned reusable fields stay read-only so the Team cannot silently drift from the reviewed version.
- Choose Detach to edit when this Team needs its own copy. The current fields remain in the Team, but future runs no longer claim the Library pin.
- Script paths are references only. Saving or adding a Skill never executes them.
Choose browser, private, or workspace
Open Library from the main menu. Browser teammates remain on this device. Signed-in teammates and Skills can be private or available to a writable workspace after review.
- Private items are visible only to your account.
- Workspace items can be saved by owners and admins, who can both edit and approve the reviewed import. Editors can ask an owner or admin to save it.
- Import is atomic: if Codelit cannot authorize the final active item, it writes no draft or partial record.
- Draft and archived items stay visible in Library but cannot be added to a new Team.
- Saving a browser teammate online never removes the browser copy.
Update or restore a version
Open an online teammate or Skill menu and choose Version history. New version keeps the fields structured, shows the exact reusable changes, and removes credential-like text before anything is submitted.
Review rollback beside an earlier version shows what will change before it appends a new current version. Rollback never deletes or rewrites history.
- Only private owners and workspace owners or admins can create a version.
- Existing Agent Teams remain pinned to the exact version they already use. Update a Team separately after reviewing its provider connections and instance-specific settings.
- Archived items keep their history but must be restored before an update or rollback.
- Repeated save requests are idempotent, and stale reviews stop before writing.
Archive, restore, or remove
Open an online teammate or Skill menu to archive or restore it. Archiving hides it from new Team additions while existing pinned Teams and receipts keep their exact version. Restoring makes that same version available for new additions again.
- Private items can be archived or restored only by their owner.
- Workspace items can be archived or restored only by an owner or admin.
- Removing a browser teammate never removes an Agent already added to a Team or its separate online copy. Use Undo immediately after removal if you selected the wrong item.
