Web access and saved sessions
Public pages need no saved login. Pro users can connect a private website once, then let the Browser app reuse that account within an approved domain boundary without installing an extension.
Connect one website
Open Website sign-ins in Browser, or Settings > Browser and local > Web access, paste the HTTPS sign-in address, and complete authentication in the secure Browser surface inside Codelit. Choose Finish sign-in so the saved session becomes available to supervised Browser tasks.
- Enter the website's HTTPS sign-in page.
- Sign in only to the intended account in the secure Browser surface inside Codelit.
- Choose Finish sign-in. Codelit will reuse it only for a Browser task with matching approved domains.
Keep the scope narrow
The saved session is account-owned and domain-scoped. A workflow requesting domains outside that scope is blocked before browser execution. Read mode observes; approved-actions mode pauses before consequential interaction and supports human takeover.
Follow a task in the Thread
Browser and Computer tasks show the live workspace with one status area below it. Open Recent activity to read the latest task observations in order. Activity is reported from the run, not a percentage estimate of how much work remains. Hide chat gives the workspace more room; Show chat restores the composer and its draft.
- Review the complete proposed action before approving. Long reviews scroll within Task details while the action buttons remain available. You can focus Task details with the keyboard and scroll it using Page Down or End.
- After the live workspace closes, the result and available follow-up actions appear together. Open Evidence for captured screenshots or page text when available.
- A stopped task is not a completed task. Read the preserved findings and the reason for stopping before trying again. If an external action has an unknown outcome, check its destination before repeating it.
- Save report to Files is available for eligible finished results with evidence. Saving preserves the report; it does not rerun the task or send it to another app.
Review and revoke access
Settings shows recent Browser Live Run outcomes, attempts, domains, and private evidence. Browser Recipes preserve reviewed goals and scopes for reuse. Remove a recipe independently, or delete the saved website to revoke future browser runs.
- Keep private evidence links inside the intended account.
- Reconnect when the site expires its login.
- Remove the session before changing account ownership.
- Use an App capability instead when it exposes the required typed action.
